These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Cable Connect platform, including its website and mobile applications (together, the "Platform"), operated by Cableconnect ("we", "us", "our"). By registering for, accessing or using the Platform, you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
Cable Connect is a business-to-business discovery and connection platform for the cable and wire industry, connecting buyers, sellers and manufacturers. Cable Connect does not process payments, hold funds in escrow, or take any commission on transactions between users. All commercial terms are settled directly between the buyer and the seller, outside the Platform.
Cable Connect is an intermediary. It provides a place where Users publish content and find each other, and it does not own, sell or supply the goods and services Users list.
To publish a listing you must complete identity verification through our verification partner, Didit, by uploading an identity document to Didit. Our team may also ask you for business proof documents to review. We do not publish or sell your verification information. See the Privacy Policy for what we keep and for how long. Verification shows that a real, identified person stands behind an account. It is not a guarantee of the quality, legality or reliability of any User, listing or transaction.
Certain actions, for example posting a job listing or requesting a sample, are subject to a free monthly usage allowance on your account. This is an anti-abuse and fair-use measure, not a paid subscription. Cable Connect does not currently charge for access to the Platform.
The Platform includes listings, a community feed, jobs and direct messaging. You are solely responsible for what you post or send. You must not host, display, upload, share or transmit content that:
You can report community posts and comments with the report control in the app. To report anything else, including a direct message or a listing, write to support@cableconnect.in or to the Grievance Officer. We may remove or disable access to content, and suspend or end an account, that breaches these Terms, and we will tell the User affected, giving the reason, unless the law stops us. We may also remove content when a court or an authorised government agency orders it, within the time the law allows. We keep records of removed content and related account information for as long as the law requires, and we will help government agencies with lawful requests.
We remind you at least once a year that these Terms, the Privacy Policy and our rules apply, and that breaking them can lead to removal of content or access.
Employers may post job listings and job seekers may apply through the Platform. Consultations booked through the Platform carry no Cable Connect fee, and where a video call is used it takes place on Google Meet. Cable Connect is not a party to, and is not responsible for, any employment or consulting relationship formed through the Platform.
The Platform, including its software, design and branding, is owned by or licensed to Cableconnect and is protected by intellectual property laws. You keep ownership of the content you post and give us a limited licence to host, display and distribute it on the Platform for the purpose of running the service.
We may suspend or end your access to the Platform if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, acted fraudulently or unlawfully, or put other users or the Platform at risk. You may stop using the Platform and request deletion of your account at any time. The Privacy Policy explains how.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or reliability of any listing, quote or other content posted by a User, and we do not guarantee that any transaction arising from a connection made on the Platform will be completed or will be satisfactory.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cableconnect is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform, or from any transaction or dispute between Users, because Cable Connect is not a party to any such transaction.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cableconnect, its officers, employees and agents from any claim, loss or liability arising from your use of the Platform, your content, or your breach of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes arising from these Terms are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top, and if a change is material we will tell you in the app or by email. If you keep using the Platform after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
Our Grievance Officer's name and contact details are published at cableconnect.in/grievance-officer. We acknowledge a complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days. Please do not send Aadhaar, PAN or other ID numbers, or passwords, by email or WhatsApp.
